Who We Are

Overview

Our Mission

Our primary mission is to offer comprehensive alcohol and other drug problem recovery services by providing opportunities and skills leading to healthy and productive life styles.

Associated Rehabilitation Program for Women, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation. We operate 2 residential treatment facilities in Carmichael, CA. We are licensed and certified by the State of California Department of Health Care Services.

Our Alpha Oaks facility provides 23 residential treatment beds. At our Cornerstone facility, we provide 11 residential treatment beds.

Our Focus is on Adult Women

Women alcoholics and addicts often have unique histories of emotional, physical, or sexual abuse. Ways of coping with their alcoholism and addiction are often uniquely feminine. We believe facing and dealing with these intensely sensitive issues is best done in a woman-to-woman environment.

By living together and searching for new ways of living together, many of our residents develop profoundly new types of relationships with other women. Relationships of cooperation and support… not competition.

Sacramento County

In 2001, the Sacramento County Board of Supervisors published a resolution "Honoring the Associated Rehabilitation Program for Women upon their 25th anniversary".

A Residential Program

Our residential program supports women in developing positive 24-hour support networks where women cooperate, rather than compete, with each other. Here, sober living can become a habit and a rewarding way of life.

Revenue Sources

We are partially funded through the Sacramento County Department of Health Services, Division of Behavioral Health Services, Substance Use Prevention & Treatment.

In addition, we welcome private pay clients. Our daily fees are exceptionally reasonable ... often less than a quality hotel room rate per day. We accept major credit card payments.
